MOLLY PAYTON – SLACKVILLE SESSIONS

Molly Payton initially used our live room as a creative space for writing and rehearsing with her band. It was during this time that she discovered our talent for producing captivating live sessions at our recording studio in East London. This discovery led her to choose Arcus Sounds as the backdrop for her upcoming video series, ‘Slackville Sessions,’ which coincided with the release of her mini-album ‘Slack’ under Bug Records.

Molly, along with her band (comprising half of the Swedish rock band ‘Francobollo’ and fellow New Zealand native Isaac on the drums), delivered a performance that lived up to the high standards set by their recordings. They set up in front of an impressive green screen, creating a unique fusion between two worlds during their live session at our East London recording studio.

Our dedicated Arcus team worked alongside Molly’s own crew, handling recording and audio engineering duties for the session. We also provided our in-house lighting to enhance the overall setup.

Following the full band session, Molly treated us to an intimate acoustic performance, showcasing her versatility and talent as a musician to round off the session
